The Samsung T301 is Tracfone's latest offering. This is Tracfone's first and only slider phone to date. The T301 is a variant of the Samsung SCH-r6xx series phones. However, unlike the SCH-r6xx, the T301 does not have the built in MP3 player , external SD memory support and video camera capabilities. The phone features nice sized 2 inch color screen that is easy to read as well as sliding keypad that has great tactile response. Though the screen is quite large for a phone this size, the sliding keyboard allows the phone to still be very compact. Another notable feature on the Samsung T301 is that it improves on Tracfone's new data plan offerings by giving you the ability to download MP3 ringtones and Java games. The phone also features a nice 1.3 mp digital camera with a very nice zoom feature as well as Bluetooth technology support. Functionality is excellent with great signal strength and voice quality. Overall, this is a great little phone that is probably Tracfone's best and most feature rich to date. Best of all, Tracfone priced it quite nicely at $49.99 which includes the Double Minutes for Life. Since you get a brand new phone (not a refurb) for that price, the Double Minutes for life is sure to last you a good while. So if you are in the market for a brand new Tracfone or simply want to replace an outdated or broken one, then this is an excellent choice.
